Los Angeles police officers were stationed at Echo Park this morning as efforts continued to move the remaining few homeless out of the park to make way for a $500,000 renovation effort - hours after protesters clashed with authorities near the park

Earlier law enforcement circled the park shining flashlights in and saying over a bullhorn that the park would close at 1030. They kept asking if people want interim housing and that they have some available to offer

The LAPD has issued two dispersal orders to crowd at EchoPark Lake near Glendale and Santa Fe. Huge police presence and skirmish lines set up along with waiting arrest vans. Seen a few smoke bombs and fireworks being lit too
